Further to our Belgium Tax Alert of February 27, 2007 with respect to the ongoing trade dispute between the European Community (EC) and the United States of America (US) about “The Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act” (“Byrd Amendment”), the European Commission has officially announced that the list of goods for which retaliating measures are applicable, will be extended with several new goods.
