Authorized Economic Operator – import/export of goods
|

Based on the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council No. 648/2005, the new concept of security of the import/export of the goods in/from the EU starts to be implemented in the customs legal environment. The Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) has become one of the essential parts of the new security strategy. Generally, the companies with the status of AEO will be allowed to benefit from simplifications of customs proceedings granted under customs rules.
