Hungary: Government Proposes Corporate Tax Law Changes and Extension of Participation Exemption, 14 June 2006 - Macaristan
On 13 June 2006, the Hungarian government submitted to Parliament a number of proposed tax law changes, some of which may affect international structures using Hungary. The proposed changes are part of a larger package of measures to cut the budget deficit and raise revenue, although they also include the introduction of a participation exemption for capital gains on the sale of shares.
