A cross-functional round table entitled “IPO Readiness. Corporate Governance Requirements” was held by Deloitte on 19 April 2007, in cooperation with the Russian Corporate Counsel Association (RCCA).
Around 30 people participated in the four hour round table. There were general directors, executives, state officials and representatives from a variety of Russian companies, including those from financial, consumer and energy & resource fields.
The speakers focused on corporate governance requirements and best practices considered to be the cornerstone of IPO and day-to-day business success. They dealt with the main problems that arise during an IPO readiness assessment, and methods for dealing with them.
Deloitte was represented by: Tatiana Gromova, Tatiana Kokoreva and Marat Savelov from Legal, Dmitry Kulakov from Tax, Yaroslav Gorodetsky from FAS, and Yuliya Stankevich from ERS. The speakers participated in interactive discussions, answering questions related to their areas of expertise.
The day was a great success, and we’ve received a lot of positive feedback from Deloitte clients, as well as the RCCA members who attended the event.
