Japan: New Japan-UK Tax Treaty Provides Important Benefits for Investors, 24 February 2006 - Japonya

On 2 February 2006, the U.K. and Japan signed a new double taxation treaty that will replace the existing 1969 treaty when it enters into force. The new treaty includes significant improvements in the benefits available to investors, which will primarily be of advantage to U.K. companies investing in Japan, but there are also important new restrictions on treaty relief.
