One of the biggest challenges manufacturers face today centers around the health of the manufacturing industry and the ability to compete on a global scale. Although manufacturers work to cut costs and remove excess spending, they struggle with profitability due to pressure from structurally imposed costs, such as increasing health care and rising raw material costs.
Deloitte & Touche LLP’s Manufacturing Industry Practice has developed a Webcast series, Dbriefs, to help manufacturers take a closer look at these structural costs and provide examples of how to develop a strategic plan to manage them.
Our series began in October 2005, and consists of three, 60-minute Webcasts per quarter. Each live broadcast is recorded and available for playback.
